The Regional Council of Martinique is organizing in partnership with the Association of Friends of the University Library the first edition of the Martinique International Book Fair "Creole worlds", to be held in Martinique fromDecember 5nd to 8th, 2013. An edition placed under the strong sign of the centenary of the Aimé Césaire’s birth
Publishers from the Caribbean, South and North America, Africa, the Indian Ocean and Europe to participate. Publishers will be given without any cost a 10 M2 stand to exhibit and sell books. Signage, furniture and general decoration will be provided by the Regional Coucil freely. The hosts are particularly interested in publishers of books about the Caribbean or by Caribbean authors as well as publishers with bilingual editions. Participating publishers must cover their travel costs. The regional council will provide space for exhibition, publicity at local and European level and invitations to official evening events.
